Our Adult Sprint Canoe/Kayak Masters Program is open to adults of all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced paddler. Our Masters Program provides a welcoming and supportive environment where you can improve your kayaking skills, enhance your fitness level, and connect with other like-minded adults.
Our program offers a range of canoe and kayak options, including single, double, 4-person, and even 15-person canoes. Whether you're looking to hone your technique in a solo kayak or work as part of a team in a larger boat, we've got you covered.

The Masters' program is for adults (25+) of all skill levels, it's never too late to start! Participants paddle canoes and kayaks ranging from single, double, 4-person and 15-person canoes. Joining Masters is an excellent way to improve aerobic and fitness skills and meet people. During the off-season, training involves swimming, running and weight training.
Masters are eligible and encouraged to compete at weekend races (regattas) tailored to all levels of paddlers, new and experienced. The summer ends with the CANMAS Masters National Championships in late August which includes novice events for new Masters.
Returning Masters must be members of the Balmy Beach Club. If you are not currently a member, please contact nigel@balmybeachcanoeclub.com to register for our New Masters package.
